Christopher Dorner: The End Friday, Feb 15 2013

Okay.  I usually stay out of the news of the day discussions, but this one has been one for the local ages. first and foremost, I am glad he is finally off the streets.  What concerns me is that, from what I heard on the police audio today, they officers proved him right in that he tto bello. Low the whistle on thier corruption.  The playback clearly shows the police purposely burned done the cabin, something they previously claimed was not their intention.  They had a total disregard for the property owner. Bed cause of their actions, they have now opened the department to litigation by the property owner who can now show that the police did not care about anything but making sure Dorner was dead.  I heard many complain early on about his ladue process process with my response being that he tossed that aside as he was waging war on the local police.  However, I now question the same.  It seems the police could have used different tactics and not lied to the public about how the fire started.

One report I heard was that they had the opportunity to take him alive and stand trial for his crimes and confirm that he was the one who killed the two young people for which he was accused but unconfirmed of killing. The problem is that I have not see the footage so I cannot confirm the validity of this information. If there is footage confirming this, the police would have confirmed the corruption charges made by Dorner creating a barrage of conspiracy theories unlike any we have seen in a very long time. Could this be what brings about a complete shake up of the Los Angeles Police Department? I don’t think this story ends with the death of Dorner.

Was Dorner right in his actions? I say no. Did his actions prove him right about corruption? To some extent, yes but to the extent that he was looking to expose? Only time will tell.

Unemployed: Staying Relevant During Long-Term Unemployment Thursday, Feb 7 2013

Unemployed Cover Final1

This book was a direct response to hearing reports of people being told to not apply for jobs if they have been out of work for more than six months. Many were saying they did not know what to do next. I have compiled information for ways people can stay active while unemployed and use the options to keep their resume up to date effectively closing long gaps between jobs. Even if this book does not work for you, you may know someone who is in need of help and encouragement. There are solutions, it is just a matter of finding what works best for each individual.
