What happened to my shiny new penny? Friday, Oct 30 2015

It was just a few short months ago that I this really cool shiny penny dropped into my life.  I was so excited that I cherished not only this new penny but all the others that came before it. Cooper is supposed to take quite a bit of time to tarnish, however, my shiny new penny seemed to lose its luster unusually fast. My precious shiny penny has rusted to the point of near non-recognition. How can that be? I was planning on fully enjoying it for years to come. When did it become a bad penny? So how do I get my penny back to its original or near original luster?  Can I clean up this penny? The opportunity is there, I just have to decide which tools to use and make my penny shine again. It will take some finessing but a little elbow grease and time but I will spit shine it until I see the light beaming off of it again.

So the journey begins, do I try to save it or find a new one because the tarnish refuses to go away?  We will soon find out.

Be My Green Valentine Thursday, Feb 7 2013

Next week is Valentine’s Day. A day designed for lovers to show their love for one another. As someone who has a passion for living green, I have published an article that offers eco-friendly ideas that are not only good for couples but for entire families. After reading the article, I welcome open discussion and more ideas like dimming the lights and using flameless candles or 100% soy candles made locally.

Unemployed: Staying Relevant During Long-Term Unemployment Thursday, Feb 7 2013

Unemployed Cover Final1

This book was a direct response to hearing reports of people being told to not apply for jobs if they have been out of work for more than six months. Many were saying they did not know what to do next. I have compiled information for ways people can stay active while unemployed and use the options to keep their resume up to date effectively closing long gaps between jobs. Even if this book does not work for you, you may know someone who is in need of help and encouragement. There are solutions, it is just a matter of finding what works best for each individual.

Welcome to by Lisa Tucker Thursday, Feb 7 2013

Thank you for visiting. Here you will find all the published works by Lisa Tucker from articles to book accomplishments.  I welcome open discussion, however, there are rules which I will share at the end.  My personal goals are to share my work with all those interested in what I have to share.  Most of my articles will center around green living, working and playing.  There will be occasional articles on various topics as well.  I am working on a book series that I will reveal once I have solidified the details.  My goals for you is to be entertained and enlightened. I want your experience to be a positive one that will bring you back to visit regularly.

Now for the rules.
1. Criticize, but only constructively. I will delete hurtful posts especially towards other visitors.
2. Please keep your comments clean. This should be a place that all ages can come to. I will delete posts that are full of curse words or inappropriate language.
3. Encourage when you can. There may be times when another visitor is seeking feedback for ideas. Try to be supportive of your fellow visitors.

We want this to be a positive and creative place. I hope you will enjoy the fruits of my labor and learn something new along the way.

Yours in Creative Thought
